Fees, Payment and Important Information
Fees:
Investigations start from £40. As each individual client and case pose their own needs, challenges, and possible time constraints, these will be discussed prior to the investigation starting followed by quotation.
Please Note - If door to door investigations is required, a fee of £15ph will be added upon agreement. If there is a need for the investigation to enter the congestion zone in central London, a £15 daily fee is payable and will be added onto the final fee. Investigators will try to minimise the need to use a vehicle in London where possible to ensure the costing to the client is kept to a minimum.
Fire Investigations - Start from £2500, This covers collection, storage, transportation and testing of samples for forensic analysis, plus £25ph during the investigation of the fire scene. (Forensic testing provided by SOCOTEC) payable before any analysis/testing is conducted.
TSCM Sweeps Start from £500 and is dependent on the size, scale and scope of the sweep required. This includes a site inspection and assessment looking for and at potential threat areas.
If there is an investigation that you wish us to conduct that is not mentioned on our website, then please contact us. Our dedicated team will discuss your needs and if it is something we can undertake costing can be agreed.
Payments:
Payments will be due before any investigation work is started. In the instances of children cases, 50% payment will be required, with the remainer payable upon agreement. For Fire investigation, the initial £2500 will be required before the investigation start. An invoice will be sent with hours worked following the conclusion of the investigation. Accepted payment are via credit or debit card and Bank transfer, for which details will be sent up on agreement that we will undertake your instruction and your agreement of fees. No payment details will be retained.
Personal Data:
In accordance with GDPR all data gathered from an investigation will be stored in encrypted files on an encrypted hard drive. All data will be stored for as long as the matter is open and until the matter has been resolved. Only information require for the investigation will be disclosed unless requested by the CPS.
No Promises or Guarantees:
It would be amazing if every investigation resulted in a positive outcome for those who instructed the need for the investigation. However, Find Investigations cannot guarantee that the desired outcome will be achieved. This is due to many factors, those who wish not to found will go to great lengths to remain off the grid, some people may have sadly passed, or there may simply be nothing to find. Regardless of the findings, a detailed report will be issued. If an avenue of investigation has been missed and you would like this explored, please mention it to your designated investigator. If there are no ethical, legal, logistical or conflicting constraints, this can be discussed. Find Investigations will do their upmost to reach a suitable conclusion for everyone involved.
