Professional Standards & Governance.
Find Investigations operates under strict ethical and procedural controls. We prioritise lawful compliance, data protection, and evidential integrity in every instruction we accept.
14-Point Code of Conduct
Every instruction passes through these fourteen documented controls before, during, and after deployment.
Operational Governance Framework
Privacy & Data Protection
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). All investigations are conducted in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. We apply strict data minimisation principles and secure file transfer protocols for all sensitive material.
Surveillance & Missing Persons
Surveillance is only undertaken where necessary, proportionate, and supported by a clear lawful basis. For missing persons, we apply rigorous safeguarding controls and will not assist individuals attempting to bypass legal restrictions or safeguarding services.
Refusal of Unsuitable Work
Find Investigations reserves the right to decline any instruction that lacks a legitimate purpose, presents unmanageable safeguarding risks, or conflicts with our professional standards.
Information Security & Retention
All case data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Retention periods are documented per data category and deletion is verified on completion. We maintain a data processing register in line with Article 30 UK GDPR obligations.
Evidential Integrity
Continuity of evidence is maintained from collection through to presentation. Original material is preserved without alteration, working copies are clearly labelled, and metadata is retained in its native format.
Report Quality Assurance
Every report undergoes a structured QA review before release. Findings are confidence-graded, sources are independently verified, and analytical assumptions are clearly distinguished from established fact.
